Serious concern has been raised over the impact poor broadband is having on Fanad Lighthouse and the wider Peninsula with only 17% of residents having access to high speed broadband.
A Letterkenny Municipal meeting was told this week that management at the lighthouse have to update their website from home while there’s no broadband access for people renting the apartments there.
The Council say the lighthouse has been identified as a priority location for the rollout but Cllr. Adrian Glackin still has reservations:
