Donegal is included in the latest Yellow Weather Warning published by Met Eireann.
Scattered snow showers are predicted for today, tonight, and tomorrow, with the warning valid until 12 noon tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a climatologist says it’s too early to say what will happen in Donegal, particularly when Storm Emma hits the East Coast tomorrow.

Donegal County Council are advising motorists that they continue to monitor weather conditions as they emerge over the coming days and are urging all road users to take extra care during this wintry weather.
Council gritting crews have treated over 1,000km of road network across Donegal applying approximately 300 tonnes of salt and grit in the last 24 hours and can confirm that all main roads in the county are passable.
Sand and grit heaps are available at various locations around the county for use by local residents and communities and further details are available on the Winter Gritting Map at https://goo.gl/ybmuPh .
The Council say older people or other vulnerable people living on their own may find it a very difficult to get about and do their day to day tasks during this type of weather and they would ask neighbours, family and friends to keep in touch and make sure they are safe and warm.
Bus Eireann have confirmed that services within Ulster and Connacht are to go ahead as planned today, including all local services.
For passengers travelling to Dublin, Bus Eireann say Dublin Expressway inter-city services have been severely disrupted, with people advised to check for updates.
