TD hits out after no new school builds planned for Donegal


A Donegal Deputy has hit out at the Government after no plans for new schools in the county were included in the Department of Education’s new building plan.
On Friday, the Education and Skills Minister Richard Bruton announced plans for the establishment of 42 new schools throughout the country over the next four years.
The announcement was made following demographic exercises carried out by the department into the current and future need for primary and post-primary level school places across the country, with the majority of plans for the eastern part of the country.
