A new visitor reception centre has opened at Fanad Lighthouse.
Failte Ireland has invested €470,000 in the new facility and along with funding from the Special EU Programmes Body, Irish Lights, Donegal County Council and Udarás na Gaeltachta, the new facility boasts a reception area and extended car park as well as a permanent exhibition, highlighting the stories of Fanad Head.
