A member of the Islands Committee has reiterated his call for LIS funding to be extended to include off-shore roads in Donegal.
Seamus Rogers says while funding for the LIS scheme is to be welcomed, he says it is important that the islands are not forgotten in this years allocation of funding.
Last year the islands did not receive any funding under the LIS Scheme and Mr Rogers says the upkeep of these roads is vital in the case of emergencies:
