Half-Time gamble paid off for Harps – Ollie Horgan

Finn Harps defeated Drogheda at home for the first time since 1998 on Friday evening by two goals to one.
Sean Brennan had put Drogheda ahead before the half-hour mark but Jesse Devers and Paddy McCourt were brought on at half-time for Harps, which changed the game. Though McCourt played just 25 minutes, he had a part to play in both of the Harps goals. He provided the assist to Keith Cowan for the first goal, before he played a crucial ball to Jesse Devers, who in turn layed it off to Ciaran O’Connor to score the winner.
