Decreases were observed in all but one social welfare office in Donegal during July compared to a year prior.
The Live Register records the number of people registered to receive jobseeker payments, pay-related benefits, or social welfare credit.
The number of people on the live register increased by 1,200 last month.
Overall, the number of people on the live register in Donegal decreased by 2.9%, falling from 8,037 to 7,804.
The only social welfare office to record an increase was Buncrana, where the number rose by 0.2%, from 1,539 to 1,542.
The largest decrease was recorded in Ballybofey, where the number fell by 7.4%, from 1,058 to 980.
Dungloe saw a 6.7% decrease, with the figure falling from 853 to 796.
There were also decreases of 4.8% in Donegal, 4.4% in Ballyshannon and 4.2% in Killybegs.
In Dunfanaghy, the number was 3.7% lower than a year earlier, falling from 484 to 466.
Letterkenny recorded the smallest change, with the number of people on the live register falling by just three, from 2,323 to 2,320 a decrease of 0.1%.
