Mitchell urges caution as May visits NI


British Prime Minister Theresa May will use a speech in Northern Ireland later to insist she can get a Brexit deal agreed which honours commitments to avoid a hard border.
She’s expected to recognise that it’s a “concerning time” for people in the North.
But she will insist she can get the backing of MPs for a deal that makes sure there’s no border checks after the UK leaves the EU.
Former US Senator George Mitchell – who played a pivotal role in securing the Good Friday Agreement – says Mrs May should “keep history in mind”………….
