Finn Harps scored a late winner at home against Waterford on Friday night to pick up their second win of the Premier Division season – a win which means they move off the bottom of the table and go ahead of UCD on goal difference.
Harps had gone behind early on on Friday but two goals from Mikey Place left them 2-1 ahead. Waterford equalised with a minute of normal time to play but Harps were able to build one more attack and it was Sean Boyd who scored the late goal for Ollie Horgan’s side.
