Both parties in the Quigley’s Point community centre dispute are being urged to consider mediation in an effort to find a solution.
There are claims management of the building terminated a lease with the Children’s Point Childcare group unfairly. That is a claim rejected by the centre’s management.
The issue has divided Quigley’s Point down the middle.
TD for the area Padraig MacLouchlain says it is a very unfortunate situation but that offers of independent mediation between both parties has been declined
He says however, it is something that should be strongly considered:
