Massive power outage affecting parts of Letterkenny

 

A significant electrical fault has resulted in thousands of properties in Letterkenny currently without power.
Almost 2500 customers in Gortlee, Glencar and other areas are affected.
Crews have been tasked to carry out repair works with the service expected to be restored at 1.30pm this afternoon.
The ESB has apologised for the loss of supply and had endeavoured to restore power as quickly as possible.
