Aldi to hire 22 new staff in Donegal as wage increase is announced

Aldi is to hire an extra 550 staff across the country, 22 of them in Donegal.
The company also confirmed today it is to become the first retailer in Ireland to introduce the 12-euro-30 per hour Living Wage rate.
It’s being rolled out to staff from February 1st.
The new hourly rate is the recommendation of the Living Wage Technical Group.
