Gardai score high in latest performance report

 

The Policing Authority say Gardai are applying new powers in relation to Covid 19 proportionately.
In a second in a series of reports examining Garda performance during the crisis, the authority found a reasonable approach is being taken at road checkpoints.
However it has raised concerns over priority Covid 19 testing for personnel and the policy on the presence of armed Gardai at some checkpoints.
