Car seized in Letterkenny after just being sold

Gardai in Letterkenny seized a car late last night after it had just been sold.
The new owner is said to have travelled over 25km to collect the car and was on the journey back to their home again when they were stopped by Gardai.
The car was seized by Gardaí on suspicion of the driver having no driving licence, no insurance, no valid NCT and no tax.
Court proceedings are due to follow.
