Fishing on the agenda as EU – UK trade talks resume

The impact of Brexit on fishing rights is expected to be high on the agenda when face-to-face talks on a post-Brexit trade resume today. It’s the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic that negotiators will be in the same room.
The UK has until Wednesday to ask for an extension to the transition deadline of the end of the year – but its government’s insisted it won’t do so.
