Family ‘traumatised’ following weekend shooting incident

An investigation is continuing after a number of shots were fired at a house in Dungiven at the weekend. 
The incident is believed to have happened shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Police said the occupants were not injured, but ‘they have been left extremely traumatised by their ordeal’.
Damage was caused to the front door of the property which is in the Ard Na Smoll area.
Anyone with information is being urged to contract police.
