The number of Covid patients in hospital has increased by over 10 per cent over the past week.
The figure now stands at 300 – compared to 272 seven days ago.
University Hospital Limerick is treating 35 Covid patients, which is by far the highest in the country, Letterkenny University Hospital is fourth highest on the list with 21.
Latest figures show 63 patients are being treated for the virus in intensive care units, two of them in Letterkenny.
