A pitch inspection will be held today at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybfoey to determine if the ground can host two county finals this weekend.
It’s expected the Senior A final between St Eunan’s and Naomh Conaill will get the green light and will go ahead as planned at 3.15pm on Sunday but a doubt hangs over the Ardara St Eunan’s B final which could be moved after heavy rain over the past week.
Its understood work has been carried out at the ground in recent days to ease the water issue.
Questions had been raised about the condition of the pitch at the semi final hosting but early indications are the Twin Towns venue will be able to take two matches.
