There’s been a slight drop in the number of people waiting on a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital but it still remains the second most overcrowded hospital in the country.
According to the INMO’s Trolley Watch report, 45 admitted patients are waiting on a bed at the hospital, 9 of them are on a trolley in the Emergency Department.
A total of 449 people are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
