North’s booster vaccination programme extended to all over 40s

Northern Ireland’s booster programme has been extended to all 40 to 49 year olds who have completed their initial vaccination programme.

Over 200,000 people in the North have received a Covid vaccine booster so far.

It’s also been announced 16 and 17 year olds will be offered a second vaccine dose, that will be administered at least 12 weeks after the first jab.
