Real-life quidditch, a sport derived from world-known Harry Potter franchise is no more. The sport has been renamed to distance itself from JK Rowling.
The sport’s governing bodies say it’s partly because the author’s increasingly come under scrutiny for what they call her “anti-trans positions in recent years”.
It’ll instead be known as quadball.
