Shamrock Rovers were 5-1 winners over Finn Harps on Sunday evening at Tallaght Stadium.
First half goals from Rory Gaffney and Andy Lyons alongside a Neil Farrugia brace had the Hoops 4-0 up at the break.
Jaime Siaj pulled one back for Harps on 57 minutes but a Jack Byrne goal just five minutes later sealed Rovers four goal win.
