Kevin Eves and Chris Meely won the modified section at the weekend’s Wexford Stages Rally.
The Donegal crew finished 4th overall in their Toyota Corolla Twin Cam and had 42 seconds to spare over class 14 rival Richard Moffet in a Starlet.
Eves was also one minute and 49 seconds ahead of former World Rally Championship driver Mikko Hirvonen. The Finish driver was competing in an Escort.
While in Belgium, at the Escort Rally, Co Tyrone’s Frank Kelly earned himself a first placed finish and 4th overall went to Donegal men Paul and Karl Reid.
