Connor Coyle extended his unbeaten record to 17-0 on Saturday night.
The Derry boxer earned a unanimous decision win over Mexican Silverio Ortiz in what was a tough bout for the Derry middleweight in Florida.
Coyle’s is attention will now turn to a possible bout in Boston at the end of October.
