Donegal’s Luke McAteer and Dylan Browne McMonagle had winners on Monday at Fairyhouse.
First up was McMonagle, who is chasing a second successive Apprentice Champion title.
He won the 3.20 Fairyhouse Members Claiming Race on Approaching Bear at 100/30 for trainer Joseph O’Brien.
That was Dylan’s sixth win in the last fortnight and his 38th of the season.
McAteer’s victory came two hours later on 5/2 shot Thunderbear for trainerJack Davison. He won by a head from Midnight Toker.
The victory was McAteer’s 19th of the year and his second in four days after his recent win on Aurifordina at Nass.
