The national broadband plan will cost around €128 million to be fully installed in Donegal, the second highest amount in the country.
33,000 premises in the county are expected to be connected to the plan which aims to provide high quality broadband to all areas.
Letterkenny is now complete with around 3,000 premises ready to be connected while work is underway in Creeslough.
However, the project is not expected to be complete until the end of 2025.
Many Councillors in Donegal have expressed their frustration at the slow progress being made in regards the project.
