In Badminton there was a massive upset at the Yonex Dutch open.
Donegal’s Rachael Darragh beat the number three seed, Denmark’s Julie Dawall Jakobsen 21-15, 21-17 in 34 minutes to progress to the last 16 of the competition.
Darragh will now face Frederikke Lund from Denmark this afternoon (14.40 Irish Time) – who she beat in Poland over three sets last year. The winner will go through to the quarter-finals.
