Donegal County Council has expressed grave concern at the extent of youth unemployment in the county, with recent figures showing that over a quarter of the people signing on the Live Register are under 25.
The issue was raised by Cllr Mick Quinn, who wants the council to coordinate a meeting of all the development agencies to discuss the way forward.
He was told this can be done at an Economic Development Worskhop in the chamber later this month.
