The government is being urged to rethink the ban on building houses which open onto the N56.
Cllr Michéal Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig says it’s not right that a blanket ban on building homes on national roads holds on a route that passes through many areas of rural Donegal. He says many people want to build on their own land, but cannot, even though it would be perfectly safe.
