Gardaí have detected 127 vehicles breaking the speed limit in the first 5 hours of a major clampdown this morning.
Over 37,900 vehicles have been checked as part of National Slow Down Day, which runs until 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
Among those speeding was a motorist driving at 77 kilometers per hour in a 60 zone in Portnason, Ballyshannon.
