An Inishowen Councillor has accused the OPW of being anti-tourism.
Access to Grianan of Aileach has been blocked by the Office of Public Works.
Councillor Jack Murray says the body appears to be working against the local community rather than with them to promote the amenity as a tourist attraction.
He says visitors to the area are travelling to Grianan of Aileach to be met by closed gates:
