The security alert that seen homes and businesses evacuated in Omagh has ended.
The Sinn Fein Office was closed yesterday as a result of a suspicious object having been found, PSNI now confirm that item was a gun.
It was found at around 12.50pm yesterday afternoon and then removed by Ammunition Technical Officers.
It’s now undergoing further forensic examination.
