A rally is being held outside Shannon Airport this morning, protesting the US military’s continued use of the facility.
Human rights group Shannonwatch estimates over 3 million US troops have passed through the airport since 2002.
This includes 11 flights to Israel since October, amid claims the aircraft are not being searched for weapons.
