MEPs in Strasbourg have been reacting to the Taoiseach’s address to the European Parliament today.
Mr Kenny’s address marked Ireland’s presidency of the EU that will last for the next 6 months.
During his speech Mr Kenny stressed the need for the EU to live up to commitments made at last June’s EU Summit when an agreement was reached to decouple sovereign from banking debts.
Northwest Fianna Fail MEP Pat the Cope Gallagher says he believes that deal will be implemented along with a deal on the Anglo Irish promissory notes…..
