22 year-old due in court on Letterkenny burglary charges

A 22 year old man is due in court this morning after an unsuccesful burglary in Donegal.
The would-be burglar was brought to hospital after being attacked by a homeowner in Glencar in Letterkenny. It’s reported the homeowner – who’s in his 50s – defended himself with a golf club.
Gardai say the homeowner managed to hold the suspect until they arrived at the scene.
The 22 year old was arrested after being discharged from hospital.
