Letterkenny General Hospital has reduced the number of patients on trolleys from January this year compared to January 2012 by 61%.
The length of stay was also reduced from 8.6 days to 5.3 days at Letterkenny General in 2012.
Nationally the number of patients on trolleys fell by 32%.
