Donegal is one of eleven counties in which forestry, timber, and vegetation clearing works are due to be undertaken by the ESB following Storm Éowyn.
The risks posed by such material on both private and public land will be identified, and their potential impact on nearby electric infrastructure in the case of extreme weather will be considered.
ESB Networks says they will work closely with landowners and that the measures will help mitigate future power disruptions for thousands of customers.
