
Over 100 children were waiting more than a year to see a spinal consultant at CHI Crumlin in Dublin this summer – with some waiting up to four years.
New figures also show 117 of them had no appointment date as of July, raising serious concerns about delays in care.
While extra clinics and staff have been added, nearly 20 specialist posts remain unfilled.
