Gardaí in Buncrana are investigating an alleged assault which took place at New Road, Cardonagh.
The incident took place between 10:30pm and 10:50pm last night.
A man was walking at that location when a car, a grey Lexus pulled in.
The man got into a verbal altercation with two males in the car and one of them got out and proceeded to assault him.
The man sustained injuries, none of which are believed to be life threatening in nature.
Any person who was travelling in the area between 10:15 and 11pm with a dash cam are encouraged to make the footage available to Gardaí.
