A man in his 70s has died in a caravan fire in Carrugart.
We understand the fire broke out in a caravan this afternoon.
In a statement issued to Highland Radio News this evening, Gardaí say they are investigating all of the circumstances around the discovery of the body of a male in Carrigart Donegal this afternoon
The body of the deceased has been transferred to the local mortuary, and the coroner has been notified.
They say a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
