Donegal Mountain Rescue Team was tasked by Gardaí yesterday evening to assist in a missing person search.
The call came in at 6:49pm, with the team initiating the SARCALL system, which sends a text message allowing a missing person’s location to be pinpointed if the link is activated.
The messages were not responded to, and 10 team members were preparing to begin a search operation.
However, the missing person was then located safe and well.
