At a meeting of Donegal County Council’s Island Committee concerns were raised about the committee becoming a ‘talking shop’.
This was raised by Cllr Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig who said that the committee needs to be much more proactive in their work.
He cites a shortage of staff in the Marine section as part of the issues that are faced.
