
Donegal Deputy Pádraig MacLochlainn says that today’s work stoppage by National Ambulance Service staff could have been averted if there was enough goodwill from both Government and management.
The strike will begin at 8am and last 24 hours over disputes on pay, conditions and recognition of the changing role ambulance service personnel have taken on.
The HSE say contingency plans are in place in anticipation of disruption.
