West Tyrone MLA Daniel McCrossan has launched a scathing attack on the Northern Ireland Executive during a sitting of the Assembly this week.
At the centre of his criticism is Strabane Athletic Football Club, whose plans for new facilities were dealt a major blow after the Education Authority purchased the site the club had been seeking to develop following a process that spanned several years.
Mr McCrossan also criticised the Department for Infrastructure, accusing it of failing to communicate effectively with him on the issue.
He called on Minister Liz Kimmins to publish the report into Strabane Athletic’s planning application, which he claims was completed in November 2025:
