
A major new community and sports facility is set to be developed in Donegal Town after €2 million in funding was secured for a joint project between Four Masters GAA Club and the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation.
The funding has been awarded through the Immigrant Investor Programme Fund and will support the construction of a new clubhouse and community facility at Tir Chonaill Park.
The development will include an accessible gym, a Changing Places facility, community meeting rooms, an accessible kitchen, event space and lift access throughout the building.
The project is being delivered in partnership with the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation and is aimed at improving inclusion, participation, health and wellbeing across the region.
