The Finn Valley AC athlete had another superb 800m run in Rome with a late push to cross the line in 1:43.80.
That time was his second fastest of all time and also goes down as a new Ulster, Donegal and Finn Valley club record.
Mark was just beaten by Gabriel Tual who won in 1:43.66.
