An Inishowen councillor has been elected to Sinn Féin’s national leadership body.
Cllr Jack Murray was chosen to sit on the party’s Ard Comhairle at last night’s Cúige meeting in Mullingar.
The Cúige covers the Midlands North West constituency, and Councillor Murray says he is honoured to represent members across the region.
He says the party is strongest when it is rooted in local communities, and he intends to be a voice for grassroots members from Donegal to Galway, Louth and Mayo:
