Donegal International Rally will attract over 70,000 people over the next three days

Over 70 thousand people are expected in the county this weekend for the Donegal International Rally.

It’s the single biggest event on the county’s annual calendar, with Letterkenny Chamber saying it brings millions of euro into the town and the county.

Donegal County Council, An Garda Siochana, Donegal Motor Club and local agencies have joined forces to launch the important road safety message “Keep the Race in its Place.”

The council’s Road Safety Officer Pamela Smullen says everyone is welcome, but is reminding visitors that public roads are shared spaces, so extra care and attention is needed…………..
