MLAs at Stormont are being urged to do more to prevent vulnerable older people from being abused.
Earlier this week, the UN marked World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, with Foyle MLA Ciara Ferguson saying it’s vital that all departments do what they can to provide more protection.
Ms Ferguson says new pieces of legislation which are currently being formulated provide the opportunity to make a very good start on bringing in the measures which are necessary…….
