Investigations are under way following the discovery of the body of a man in his 50s at a location in Kincasslagh yesterday.
Gardaí say they responded to the discovery at approximately 2:40pm.
A spokesperson confirmed that the coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course. The results of that examination will help determine the direction of the investigation.
Gardaí say enquiries are continuing and no further information is available at this time.
